Nursing Clinical Resource Nurse

Clinical Resource Nurse - Covering the states of MD, MA, ME, NH, RI, NJ, IL, VA, GA, and NC

Are you an experienced nurse with a background in CQI and nursing management, looking to take your career to the next level? As a Clinical Resource Nurse, you will mentor and support the Directors of Nursing and their teams in multiple facilities across an assigned region, focusing on improving and implementing clinical systems that result in the highest quality of care. You will monitor, perform, and manage quality assurance processes, including those supporting compliance with regulatory and / or accreditation standards.

• Provide mentorship to Directors and Assistant Directors of Nursing, as well as other facility-based clinical staff
• Utilize CQI principles to identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with the facility team to implement such improvements
• Conduct regular facility visits to assist in identifying clinical priorities, development of corrective action plans, and monitoring of action plans
• Assist with management of Joint Commission process from preparation through Plan of Correction development
• Deliver educational programs
• Support the development and implementation of quality assurance measurements and audits; assist in improving medical management processes throughout the skilled nursing facilities
• Coordinate and engage in activities to market / promote implementation of evidence-based best practices
