Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this is a part-time role that completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to :

• Receives and verifies vendor invoice; reconciles invoices and other financial reports with account balances and other office records
• Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies
• Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed
• Assists with reconciling monthly statements and general ledger transactions as well as monthly closing by applying appropriate accounting standards
• Manages corporate credit card and reconciles each month
• Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts payable as needed
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of company's financial information
• Performs other related duties as assigned

This is a part-time, hourly (non-exempt) position.
