Job Summary and Qualifications

The Division AVP Academic Affairs is responsible for developing, organizing, directing, implementing, and evaluating an infrastructure for a systems approach to the academic partnerships and targeted programs to support the advancement of HCA Healthcare | South Atlantic Division. This includes forming and maintaining strategic and collaborative academic partnerships with area universities, colleges, technical programs, and high schools; scholarship program development and management; support for activities related to student onboarding and clinical rotation assignments; educational affiliation agreement management and oversight; DEU collaboration and implementation; oversight of externship programs; additional coordination about students and academic partnerships. This position will perform various quality data entry and management functions, including data entry, routine database maintenance, standard report generation, verification, and distribution.

What Qualifications You Will Need :

• Master's Degree required
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare / management required
• 3+ years of experience in relevant program management as well as project management focused on clinical operations and / or education preferred
• Registered Nurse - Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation preferred
• Experience with new graduate nursing residency programs and / or nursing school faculty preferred
