Senior Billing Specialist - New York City (Hybrid Remote)

Location : New York City, NY Salary : $90,000-$105,000 / year Schedule : Full-time | Hybrid Remote

What You'll Do

• Manage unbilled inventory and ensure invoices are finalized promptly
• Prepare monthly and transactional billing reports for attorney review
• Ensure compliance with client guidelines and rate arrangements
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing issues
• Process transfers, write-offs, and adjustments
• Partner with E-Billing Specialists to ensure successful invoice transmission
• Maintain organized billing files and report regularly to management
• Support special projects and billing initiatives
• What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of billing experience in a large law firm
• Minimum 5 years of legal billing experience
• Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset
• Ability to manage high-volume billing cycles with precision
• Clear, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
