Assistant Community Manager

The Assistant Community Manager logs daily operations under the supervision of the Community Manager. The role oversees personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management; it also manages rent delinquency and collections to optimize cash flow.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Financial Management : Post all payments and income, process and reconcile daily account receivables, monitor bad debt and prepare late notices, support budgeted revenues and expenses, post charges and bill back utilities, perform end‑of‑month closing procedures, maintain accurate records, audit resident files, walk units and post move‑out charges and refunds.
• Personnel Management : Regular onsite attendance, screen and hire staff, provide ongoing training, coaching and counseling, promote staff harmony and job performance, enforce company policies, ensure effective leasing techniques, support marketing strategies, handle resident complaints, develop retention programs, and conduct lease showings.
• Administrative Management : Deliver excellent customer service, monitor maintenance response times, maintain property appearance with timely repairs, supervise business operations, and manage property resources and vendor relationships.

Education & Experience

Physical Requirements

Regular stationary work, standing or sitting for prolonged periods, repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers. Frequent movement around the worksite, occasional ladder or stairs use, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, operate machinery or vehicles, work overtime, weekends, night hours, inside / outside environments, and hazardous chemicals.

Salary

Hourly rate : $14 to $16 per hour.
