Position & Compensation Details

Position : ICU RN- Full Time

Start Date : ASAP (Flexible with start dates)

Hours : 40 / wk (5x8)

Salary : $42.90 / hr ($80k+ / yr)

Sign on Bonus : $15k

If this role is for you, you would be responsible for :

Coordinating the delivery of nursing care for critically ill, post-operative, ventilator, post cardiac arrest, post heart cath, hemodynamic stabilization, and other critically ill patients in the ICU.

Quickly and accurately assessing patient care needs

• Diagnosing and developing treatment plans collaboratively with doctors and staff
• Completing paperwork and patient charting.
• Managing multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs continually
• Using strategies and available resources for problem-solving for patients, family and staff
• Delegating tasks and care to appropriate staff and ensuring timely follow-up
• Facilitating learning for patients and families, nursing staff, other members of the health care team and community; integrating appropriate education throughout the continuum of care to help them participate and / or make informed conclusions about their health care and treatments
• Preserving and protecting the confidentiality, autonomy, dignity and rights of patients and family, and representing their concerns.
• Participates in quality / performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Education Required for the ICU  RN :

1+ year(s) of ICU RN experience required

Unencumbered Texas or Compact RN license required

BLS required
