Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst

Financial analysis, establishing performance management baselines, and forecasting activities to include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning drivers, risk and opportunities assessment and development of mitigation plans. Integrates information from multiple financial systems, processes and functions in order to consolidate the data forensics into actionable business solution recommendations. Timely and accurately consolidates financial results and monthly, quarterly and year end reporting to internal and external customers to include government contractual cost and schedule earned value management reporting. Develops and utilizes forward-looking data analytics, visualization and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision making. Develops and provides actionable recommendations to Control Account Managers (CAMs) and key stakeholders to make sound financial and operating decisions. Maintains applicable internal and external (FAR, CAS, SEC, US GAAP) policy, procedure, and controls for compliance to support internal process and external regulatory requirements. Provides subject matter expertise support to proposal development, basis of estimate and negotiations, as required.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience / combined education with 1+ year of related experience. Ability to work in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with EVMS / EVM or other cost or schedule management tools. This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US citizen and able to maintain a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills

2+ years of related experiences. Prior experience supporting U.S. Government / DoD contracts. Demonstrated ability to effectively brief earned value management (EVM) data and performance metrics. Knowledge of Cobra and related finance tools. Advanced Excel skills, including formula writing, pivot tables, and Power Query. Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build partnerships across functional teams. Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills. Secret clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position : 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,600 - $106,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
