Location : Salem, OR (Hybrid 2 days on-site / 3 days remote)

As our Network / Systems Administrator , you’ll play a vital role in shaping our infrastructure, leading cybersecurity readiness, and ensuring peak performance across all systems. We run a modern hybrid Microsoft environment and need a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere.

What You’ll Do

In this hands-on and high-impact role, you’ll :

Take ownership of our Microsoft ecosystem — including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure / Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online

Administer our ITSM platform (ServiceNow, Jira / Confluence, BMC, or similar)

Support and manage 15+ remote servers, networks, and firewalls

Configure and maintain VPNs, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless environments

Deploy and support firewalls, WAPs, routers, and secure network hardware

Monitor and optimize performance across hybrid on-prem / cloud systems

Maintain cybersecurity best practices, policies, and tools (MFA, SSO, IDS, certificates)

Manage backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity

Provide expert-level (tier 3) support for complex technical issues

Lead systems patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure upgrades

Collaborate with leadership to align IT strategy with security and compliance goals

Contribute to meaningful projects that enhance how the company operates

What You Bring

You’re not just technically strong — you’re a problem-solver who sees around corners and works proactively. Your qualifications include :

4+ years of experience in both systems and network administration

2+ years managing Microsoft enterprise environments, including :

Active Directory & Windows Server

Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint)

Azure AD / Entra ID

Practical experience with :

Firewall / switch configuration and troubleshooting

Microsoft Intune, SQL Server, IIS, and endpoint management

PowerShell scripting, Power Automate, Power BI

Hyper-V and physical server deployment

Ubiquiti wireless and networking equipment

A solid grasp of :

TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, IPv4 networking

Security protocols and frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2)

Network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities

Bonus points for :

RingCentral and VoIP systems experience

Exposure to LAMP stacks and light scripting (SQL, PHP, JavaScript, etc.)
