To serve Nothing Bundt Cakes guests with creative solutions in a warm and welcoming environment for our guests, offers creative solutions for unique celebratory occasions and sells our delicious cakes. The Marketing Coordinator is the first point of brand contact both outside and inside the bakery and serves in an essential role to engage and bring joy to our guests, create a memorable experience and leave a positive, lasting impression. Our ideal candidate would have a background working on community fundraising or a marketing or sales background. Candidate could be a stay at home mom who wants to get back into the work force. The overall marketing strategy is created by our franchisor. The owner will discuss implementing that strategy week over week in one on one meetings. The Marketing Coordinator embodies NbC core values and demonstrates a strong commitment to guest satisfaction as well as excellence and efficiency in the workplace.

Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements :

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• While no formal education or work experience is required, previous guest service experience at a bakery, restaurant or retail store is a plus. Training will involve working inside the four wall of our bakery for 4-6 weeks to ensure you understand our brand and culture as well as product line before you represent us in the community.

Work Availability :

The ability to work during all major holidays is a must. We are a holiday based business; so we pull back on marketing during the busiest days of the year. We do transition the marketing position to help in the bakery rather than out of the bakery marketing during the busiest days of the year.

Flexible schedule up to you to decide - approx. 25 hours per week. Ideally it would be Monday through Friday 9am 2pm. Must be flexible and able to work outside your typical schedule for fundraising & selling events throughout the year including Saturdays & Sundays.

Accountabilities / Duties :

Marketing Using our strategy for automatic and everyday sampling. Our NBC product quality is a core driver of our brand and business. We put cake in people's mouths by sampling cake in the community urging people to visit the bakery.

Continue our ongoing marketing plan targeting customers and prospective customers in a 3-5 mile radius of our bakery to create awareness, initiate trail purchases of our cake, drive store traffic and increase customer loyalty.

Set up face to face meetings with area business leaders and HR professionals who may want to use our products.

Following back up on opportunities to implement birthday celebrations, corporate gifting, holiday parties, company picnics and more

Fundraising Working with area schools and non-profits, building awareness of fundraising opportunities with Nothing Bundt Cakes. Building from where we are now, adding more schools to our list of successes.

Contact area PTA leaders through schools to discuss fundraising opportunities available.

Manage the process of the selling with the PTA leaders.

Being on site working with the crafters and bakery manager to ensure the fundraiser is made just right.

Deliver the fundraiser checking the order with the PTA leader to ensure no errors were made.
