Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and excellent project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of electrical projects
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, engineers, and contractors
- Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with timeframes and financial constraints
- Conduct design reviews and ensure that all electrical systems meet the necessary codes and standards
- Oversee construction management activities and ensure project milestones are met
- Facilitate communication between teams to enhance project efficiency and resolve issues promptly
- Prepare and review contracts, ensuring all terms are met throughout the project lifecycle
- Implement safety and compliance protocols during the execution of electrical projects
- Manage preconstruction processes and prefab initiatives as required
- Provide support for disaster recovery and emergency power solutions
Qualifications
8+ years of project management experience in the electrical construction industry is requiredBachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred, but not requiredStrong knowledge of project management methodologies and toolsExperience in scheduling and contract managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with compliance regulations and safety standardsExperience in construction management and preconstruction processesKnowledge of industrial and healthcare electrical systemsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesCertification in Project Management (PMP) is a plusBenefits
