One of our clients is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Bilingual Teacher in the Philadelphia, PA area.

CLIENT'S HOURLY RATE & AVAILABLE HOURS

  • Starting at $30 / hr depending on Contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
  • Monday-Friday (7 : 30 a.m. - 3 : 30 p.m.)

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

  • Develop schedules and enforce daily routines.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating environment in terms of child development.
  • Provide age appropriate supervision and guidance.
  • Create and execute lesson plans on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain open communication with the students' parents / guardians.
  • Follow the lesson plan(s) left by the teacher for whom you are substituting in accordance with districts philosophy, goals and objectives.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students
  • Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student
  • Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground and in the cafeteria
  • Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan

    • REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 1 year teaching experience
  • Teacher certification
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • ESL Certification (preferred)
  • PA Substitute Teaching Certification or willing to go through emergency certification / building sub permit process
  • Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass State Criminal Record Check, State Child Abuse, Department of Education FBI.
