Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to serve as the right hand to the CEO. This is a full-time, in-office role, 5 days per week, based in Arlington, VA, with minimal travel required. The Executive Assistant will play a critical role in managing executive priorities, overseeing key administrative functions, and supporting the build-out of our headquarters office. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate needs in a fast-paced, growing organization.

This is not a traditional support role; this individual will have the opportunity to assess and shape additional administrative talent needs as the organization scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Support
  • Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, anticipating needs and ensuring seamless execution of priorities.
  • Manage scheduling, calendars, and travel logistics with accuracy and foresight.
  • Draft, manage, and respond to communications on behalf of the CEO, ensuring professionalism and timeliness.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
  • Project Management & Operations
  • Build and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to track consulting operations.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, making clear, concise recommendations to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate coordination between consultants, senior leadership, and the CEO to optimize business performance.
  • Support operational setup and management of the headquarters office.
  • General Administration
  • Support client invoicing, payments, and related documentation.
  • Partner with Marketing to strengthen and grow brand identity.
  • Provide travel and administrative support to consultants and senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated success as an Executive Assistant or similar role supporting C-level leadership.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and intermediate Excel skills required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of discretion, maturity, and professionalism.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to operate independently.
  • Comfortable working in a small, fast-growing environment.
