Location : New York City (4 days in office / 1 day remote)

Salary : $65,000

Overview :

A Fast-growing contemporary fashion brand based in New York is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst with hands-on experience in AP, ideally within the apparel or fashion industry. This role supports full-cycle invoice processing, vendor management, and month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities of Accounts Payable Analyst :

Process, code, and verify invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Match payments with invoice documentation and maintain organized AP files.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Review expense reports and corporate credit card charges for accurate GL coding.

Support month-end close and AP-to-GL reconciliations.

Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Identify and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications of Accounts Payable Analyst :

2 years of accounts payable experience (fashion / apparel preferred).

Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.

Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup); MS Great Plains a plus.
