Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced RN   for the Main Campus Operating Room. We offer a full spectrum of surgical services using state-of-the-art technology and minimally invasive approaches. We perform Bariatric, ENT, General, Gynecology, Neurology, Ophthalmic, Oral Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Thoracic, Trauma, Urology and Vascular surgeries.

Unit Summary :

Our Main Operating Room is staffed 24 / 7 to accommodate surgery at any time. The OR suite is made up of thirteen surgical rooms including a dedicated pediatric room and orthopedic suites. The recovery area has twelve bays and a specialized peri-operative nursing team to provide close monitoring of patients during the recovery process.

Hours : Per Diem or 40 hours / week

Qualifications :

A minimum of 2 years operating room experience

Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing are required

BSN is strongly preferred

Associate’s degree in nursing may be considered. Must enroll in BSN within year

BLS required

Circulating and scrubbing experience

CNOR preferred

Call is required with self-scheduling
