Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems; ASHRAE standards. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and project coordination skills. Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE)

Sansom Staffing has partnered with a leading facility design firm to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) for their Facilities Design Team . This role focuses on designing HVAC, plumbing, and utility piping systems (compressed air, nitrogen, vacuum, etc.) for industrial, R&D, and commercial facilities. You’ll collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team across architectural, structural, electrical, and fire protection disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
- Perform load calculations and select mechanical equipment.
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Conduct field investigations and support construction coordination.
- Attend client and project meetings; provide scope and proposal input.
