About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Southeast Chapter, a key leadership role in a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to creating a more resilient and equitable food system. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the region's strategy, culture, and performance, with a focus on operational excellence, sales growth, and community partnerships. This role requires a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual with a strong background in operations, supply chain, or mission-driven enterprise, and a deep commitment to food systems change, racial equity, and community wealth-building. The Executive Director will lead a diverse team, manage the Chapter's P&L, and ensure the efficient operation of the regional logistics network, all while serving as the public face of the organization and representing its values in the community.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years' of progressive leadership experience, a proven track record in team management, budget oversight, and delivering measurable performance outcomes. They should be adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, from farmers to institutional customers, and be skilled in financial management, including P&L oversight and budgeting. Familiarity with Salesforce, inventory management systems, and warehouse management software is a plus. The role also involves strategic and external engagement, serving as a thought leader and advocate for regional food systems, and contributing to national strategy discussions. The Executive Director will be a collaborative coach, a results-oriented manager, and a community champion, ensuring that the Southeast Chapter operates with both heart and discipline, and contributes powerfully to the organization's impact nationwide.
