We're seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our dynamic team, specializing in semiconductor wafer polishing. Key Responsibilities
Lead process optimization initiatives for semiconductor wafer polishing operationsDevelop and implement innovative solutions to reduce manufacturing variation and costsDesign and validate new manufacturing processes and equipment configurationsMonitor and analyze critical process parameters (temperature, pressure, gas flow, etc.)Spearhead continuous improvement projects and failure mode analysisConduct root-cause analysis to reduce manufacturing defect ratesManage process documentation and maintain detailed technical recordsLead ingot / wafer fabrication processing initiativesControl product quality through inspections and analysis verificationDrive manufacturing yield improvements and cost reduction initiativesEnsure compliance with occupational health and safety proceduresProvide technical leadership and mentoring to team membersRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in semiconductor processing, with specific expertise in wafer polishingDemonstrated success in process optimization and variation reductionStrong understanding of statistical process control and data analysisExperience with failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and team leadership abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work in a cleanroom environmentCapability to lift and handle up to 25 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 poundsPreferred Qualifications
Master's degree in relevant fieldExperience with CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization)Six Sigma certificationProgramming experience with statistical analysis toolsProject management experienceExperience in mathematical modeling and process designWork Environment & Physical Requirements
Cleanroom environment requiring proper gowning (cleanroom suit, hood, and booties)Use of appropriate PPE when working with specialized materialsRegular standing, reaching, and precise hand movementsOccasional requirement to stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb laddersMay occasionally require respirator useRequires meticulous attention to detail and careful product handlingCompany Values
