Welder - Level 1

Lays out, fits, torch cuts, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structure forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, and building and bridge parts by performing the following duties. Responsible for fabricating, joining, and repairing metal structures using various welding processes like shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
• Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Repairs dies by grinding, scarfing and welding techniques.
• Maintain and make minor repairs to welding and other shop equipment.
• Assisting Senior Welders

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.50 to $26.75 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
