Overview
This is a hybrid role (if located Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC) with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. Two days a week in office. Open to remote in several markets for highly qualified candidate.
This Senior Auditor position supports the Regulatory Reporting Audit team and is responsible for evaluating documenting and testing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, and executing audit tasks under Manager guidance, continuing to strengthen internal audit and technical skills. Documents and evaluates internal controls, ensures compliance with laws, rules and regulations, and conformance with internal audit standards and methodologies. In this role, auditors will perform a variety of audit tasks as assigned in multiple phases of the audit lifecycle.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Accounting, internal audit, or finance OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Accounting, internal audit, or finance
Preferred Area of Study : Business, Finance, Accounting or other directly related field.
License or Certification Type : Possess or in process of obtaining designation as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Preferred Skills :
Audit or regulatory reporting experience at a Large Financial Institution
Knowledge of standard regulatory filings, including the FFIEC 031 and FRY9C, including the ability to interpret regulatory reporting instructions and guidance
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
