Production Specialist I (Video / Television Production)

Performs technical work in video production and master controloperation for Palm Beach County's Education and Government Cable Access Channel. Responsible for operating equipment and computer systems used in studio and field production and transmission of television programs. Work requires the exercise of considerable independent judgment and technical skill in operating a complex automated master control system and the execution of live and recorded studio and field production responsibilities. Work is reviewed for adherence to technical standards and conformity to established Palm Beach County (PBC) TV Channel 20 procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Associate's Degree in Communications or related field; minimum of six (6) months of experience in broadcast video production, including master control operation. Equivalency : Graduation from high school / equivalent recognized certification AND two and a half (2½) years of related experience.

PREFERENCE FOR : One (1) year of master control experience; two (2) years of experience working with Chyron graphics platform; three (3) years of video production experience; Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
