Job Title : GIS Developer

Location : Boston, MA

Duration : 6 Months (Tentative)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled GIS Developer to join a team dedicated to delivering enterprise-level geospatial solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong programming expertise, hands-on experience with the ESRI stack, and a solid background in developing and supporting geospatial applications and enterprise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop geospatial web and scripting applications within the ESRI stack using Python, JavaScript, and related technologies.

Create custom widgets, geoprocessing services, ETL processes, and software integrations across platforms.

Manage enterprise geodatabases, database servers, web servers, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Plan, test, install, implement, and support geospatial solutions, ensuring proper documentation.

Gather business requirements, obtain approvals, and maintain a prioritized backlog of requests.

Support project planning, backlog management, and resource allocation.

Provide clear written documentation and coding samples when required.

Preferred Qualifications :

Strong proficiency with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro.

Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and agencies.

Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.

Knowledge of transportation planning principles is a plus.

Familiarity with AI / ML models

Web frameworks & programming (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, .NET)
