Harper Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team on an exciting Federal KC-46A Hangar military project at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside, California .

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety in all daily project activities and decision-making.

Create, manage, and log Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals efficiently and accurately.

Assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager and Superintendent.

Promote sustainable construction practices and support LEED requirements on the project.

Maintain detailed project progress photography for documentation and reporting.

Collaborate with the Project Manager on purchasing activities including scoping and quantity take-offs.

Monitor and coordinate material deliveries to align with project timelines.

Develop a thorough understanding of contract documents and project specifications.

Facilitate clear and effective communication among all project stakeholders.

Manage project close-out activities including warranty letters, guarantees, and final acceptance documentation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience or interest in vertical construction projects , especially military or federal buildings, is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

Working knowledge of Procore or similar document control systems.

Strong computer and organizational skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range : $85,000 to $97,000 annually

Salary offered will be commensurate with skills, experience, and qualifications.
