Join our team as a Clinical Field Educator (RN) and make a meaningful impact by training, mentoring, and supporting new field clinicians. This role blends hands-on instruction with collaborative coaching to strengthen both patient care and clinician performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and guide new field clinicians through an 8-week orientation program.Assess clinical skills and knowledge to ensure readiness for independent practice.Facilitate performance-based learning pathways tailored to individual needs.Provide in-field coaching and small group training sessions.Customize orientation plans and implement remediation strategies when needed.Track progress, document performance, and address areas of concern.Oversee preceptor assignments and provide clear direction.Conduct orientation calls and communicate readiness plans with leadership.Perform clinical skill checks and evaluate competency for patient visits.Identify and support first-year clinicians requiring additional guidance.Develop, implement, and document remediation plans as appropriate.Schedule & Shift Details
Monday–Friday with occasional evening and weekend requirements.Week 1 : In-person training.Weeks 2–8 : Primarily remote with scheduled in-field training.Travel
Routine travel within the Grand Rapids area (approximately 1–1.5 hours).
