About the Role :

The Sales Admin role within the durable goods manufacturing sector is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination between the sales team and other departments to drive operational efficiency. This position focuses on managing sales documentation, processing orders accurately, and maintaining up-to-date records to support sales activities and customer satisfaction. The Sales Admin acts as a key liaison, facilitating communication between sales representatives, production, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and resolution of any issues. By maintaining organized sales data and generating reports, this role contributes to informed decision-making and strategic planning. Ultimately, the Sales Admin supports the sales function to enhance customer experience and contribute to the company’s revenue growth.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role, preferably within manufacturing or durable goods industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word, and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal teams and customers.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of durable goods manufacturing processes and terminology.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and generate actionable insights.
  • Multilingual abilities or experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Process and manage sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with company policies.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and sales records to ensure data integrity and accessibility for the sales team.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance departments to track order status, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to assist management in monitoring sales activities and outcomes.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and handling customer inquiries.
  • Skills :

    The required skills such as proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software are essential for managing sales data, processing orders, and generating reports efficiently on a daily basis.
