Overview :

CyberPro is seeking a Technical Consultant (SharePoint & Drupal) Developer to support a high-profile office within the Department of Health and Human Services, ASPR. The candidate should have experience with SharePoint and Drupal, as well as best practices in UI / UX design, Section 508 compliance, and the U.S. Web Design System (U.S. WDS). ASPR leads public health preparedness and emergency response efforts, and this role supports the Office of Public Affairs (OPA) within the Immediate Office (IO).

Schedule : Hybrid

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and support ASPR.HHS.gov using SharePoint (version 16+) and transition to ASPR.gov using Drupal (version 10+), ensuring responsive UI and Section 508 compliance.
  • Design and implement new website features and layouts following current UI / UX best practices, aligning with the U.S. WDS where possible.
  • Collaborate with the ASPR web team and OIT to develop database-driven products, forms, APIs, and complex artifacts.
  • Maintain a logical site architecture, including sitemaps, and leverage existing code for new web pages.
  • Create graphics and visual content for web and social media that align with branding standards and accessibility guidelines.
  • Optimize web content for search engines and coordinate with Search.gov to resolve SEO issues.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure functionality and content accuracy.
  • Support content management lifecycle processes for ongoing content review and updates.

Qualifications :

Education : Graduate degree in a relevant field

Experience :

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Experience developing interactive data visualizations, including maps and charts, compliant with 508 / WCAG 2.0, compatible with desktop and mobile environments.
  • Proficiency with Tableau or similar visualization tools.
  • Expertise in designing, coding, and implementing pages in SharePoint (2016+) and Drupal (10+).
  • Knowledge of PHP, SQL, jQuery, JSON, web parts, workflows, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, Java, and database integration.
  • Experience with database implementations in SharePoint, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Intermediate skills in Adobe Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.0 and Section 508 standards.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.

    • Clearance : Public trust eligible (Tier 2)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Certification as a Drupal Developer or Front End Specialist (preferred).
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator (preferred).
