Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Kids Love Nature, Avon Heath

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Kid’s Love Nature’s Avon Heath setting as a Level 3 Apprentice.

The setting is located in Avon Heath Country Park and opened in 2012. The setting boasts a large outdoor area and use of Avon Heath Country Park accommodating children aged 2-5 years old.

The setting benefits from 300 acres of stunning heathland, in addition to features two beautiful classrooms and a one acre private garden with woodland, veggie garden, supersized sandpit, fire pit, pond, mud café, outdoor classroom and 4 resident chickens.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team in a fantastic setting.

Your Duties and Responsibilities will include;

• To work effectively as part of a team
• To be involved in the planning of activities for the children
• Communicating with parents and ensuring that the children’s records are accurate and up to date
• Interacting with the children and encourage the children to participate in the activities
• Creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere for the children to flourish
• Supporting with personal care and changing nappies
• Preparing snacks
• Helping to keep the setting clean and tidy
