Accounting Manager Of Corporate Accounting
The Accounting Manager of Corporate Accounting is responsible for coordinating and optimizing outsourced accounting activities. This role ensures alignment with service-level expectations by measuring provider performance, tracking volumes, and maintaining strong collaboration between internal teams and external service partners.
Key Accountabilities :
- Drive execution of complex financial tasks and responsible for reviewing team deliverables
- Selects, develops, motivates and coaches a highly skilled and technical staff to ensure high productivity and quality of work
- Provides support to other departments as a subject matter expert
- Provides technical expertise to support maintenance and improvements of internal systems
Role Specific Accountabilities :
Supports compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls and finance transformation initiatives and process improvement effortsOversees day-to-day coordination of outsourced accounting activities to ensure operational efficiency and service qualityMonitors and reports on service provider performance, including volume tracking and SLA complianceSupports process optimization and standardization across outsourced functionsMaintains documentation and governance over outsourced processes, controls, and reporting responsibilitiesEducation, Experience, & Skill Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, MBA preferred5+ years in Accounting or other Finance fieldExperience preferred in the Energy industry2+ years experience as a Manager / SupervisorCPA preferredExperience with accounting and / or reporting systemsStrong leadership, problem solving and communication skillsCore Competencies / Key Metrics :
