Medical Assistant

We are currently hiring for a 2nd shift Medical Assistant for a long term contract in Newport News, VA.

This role will support the health providers in the clinic. The employee will perform various clinical and administrative duties such as but not limited to :

  • Room setup for patients.
  • Set up equipment and instruments.
  • Maintaining sterile technique as required.
  • Assist providers with performing exams and procedures.
  • Collect data / initiate / complete EMR and help process paperwork.
  • Provide instructions to patients / employees.
  • Sterilize equipment.
  • Measures vital signs.

Qualifications :

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 4 years additional education and / or experience.
  • Work independently; punctual; team player; EMR (Electronic Medical Record) preferred; Medical background / terminology.

    • Additional Information :

  • 2nd Shift : 3 : 30pm-12am, Monday-Friday.
  • Pay Rate : $22-$28 / hr.
  • Benefits offered.
  • 12+ month contract.

    • The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
