Bishop & Company is seeking an I nformation Knowledge Management Specialist to optimize processes and enhance operational effectiveness for our client, a government contractor on Camp Smith. This is a long-term W2 contract anticipated to start as early as  December 1st.

Fully on-site. Candidates must reside on Oahu by time of start. No Relocation.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with staff sections to analyze, refine, and optimize operational processes. Ensure timely, accurate information flows for decision-making and planning.
• Identify and document information exchange needs to improve interoperability and communication within the division and with external units.
• Spot opportunities for AI-driven solutions that boost efficiency and decision-making. Work with technical teams to assess and implement new technologies.
• Serve as the division’s go-to expert for IKM processes, tools, and systems. Provide guidance, training, and educational materials to staff.
• Act as the primary Information Systems Coordinator (ISC), directing staff to resources and liaising with IT teams for timely issue resolution.
• Implement best practices for data management and support governance frameworks, ensuring compliance and security.
• Work closely with other divisions and external units to align IKM processes, facilitate knowledge sharing, and enhance organizational learning.

What We’re Looking For

This position is subject to a national security background investigation.

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $75,000 - $100,000 . This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
