Senior Database Engineer - PostgreSQL / AWS / Automation

  • Location : Huntsville, AL (on-site)
  • Clearance : Active Top Secret

Key Requirements :

  • Shell and Python scripting, Terraform, and Ansible for automation
  • Infrastructure as code (IaC), CI / CD pipelines, automation tools like Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes for PostgreSQL deployment
  • Deploying and managing PostgreSQL databases on AWS
  • Strong knowledge of database design, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, and isolation levels
  • Ability to independently research, design, document, and implement new database services
  • 10+ years of experience (or 14+ without a degree)

    • Preferred :

  • SQL optimization workflow experience
  • Advanced PostgreSQL monitoring and tuning
  • Oracle or SQL Server scalability experience
  • Logical decoding and replication expertise
  • Agile environment experience
  • TS / SCI with polygraph
