As the Director of Human Resources, you are a key member of the senior management team and will be expected to lead our Human Resources and Recruiting Departments and advice to other senior leaders across the organization. You will play an active role in our continued growth by providing guidance, knowledge, mentorship, and oversight to a team of Human Resource and Recruiting professionals who will support leaders across the company.
Position Overview : The Director of Human Resources is responsible for providing strategic leadership in human resources management and talent acquisition within the context of government contracting. This role involves overseeing the Human Resources staff, development and implementation of HR policies, managing recruitment processes, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and government contracting requirements.
Oversee the full recruitment life cycle, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, as well as specific requirements related to government contracts.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, providing guidance to managers on performance feedback and improvement plans.
Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Oversee the administration of employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
