Accounts Receivable Clerk (Contract for Medical Leave)

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk who will be responsible for preparing, issuing, and managing customer invoices, ensuring the timely and accurate recording of receivables. This role is crucial in maintaining healthy cash flow by managing billing activities, reconciling accounts, and communicating with customers to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities :

• Follow up on outstanding invoices and communicate with customers regarding payment status, discrepancies, or billing questions.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including invoicing reports.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Generate customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review and verify billing data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain organized records of invoices and related documentation.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing or payment issues.

Work Environment :

This position is 100% onsite with an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, between 7 am and 5 pm. You will be part of a close-knit, productive, and friendly team. Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract position based out of Loves Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
