Community Manager

The Community Manager oversees all operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. Responsibilities include managing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management. As an on-site leader, you will supervise property and staff to ensure compliance with policies, safety, fair housing, and liability standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Personnel Management : including hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Financial Management : achieving net operating income, developing budgets, and monitoring deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
  • Strategic Leasing Management : developing marketing plans, leasing techniques, and resident retention programs.
  • Administrative & Maintenance Management : ensuring reporting accuracy, handling emergencies, maintaining property appearance, and managing repairs and resources.

Education / Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 1-2 years related experience.
  • CAM or ARM certification preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively, work overtime, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs., working in various environments, and handling equipment.
  • License / Equipment

  • Reliable transportation is required for emergency on-call duties.
  • Asset Living offers a comprehensive rewards package including benefits, 401K, bonuses, paid sick days, and holidays. Salary range : $70,000 - $75,000 annually.
