About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President, General Counsel to oversee its legal and compliance affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, bid protests, litigation, employment, ethics and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and export control. This role requires a strategic, proactive, and business-focused approach, with a strong emphasis on consultative and solutions-driven practices. The General Counsel will also lead the development and oversight of company policies and procedures, manage the company's risk insurance program, and serve as the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. Applicants must have a law degree, be licensed to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction, and have a minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate law. A background in the defense engineering and technical services industry is strongly preferred, as is experience with government contracting and export regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, be highly motivated, and possess the ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively.
