Minimum Qualifications :

Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education / experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience leading a full-service IT organization ranging from audio / visual support to data security and hardware / software acquisition and maintenance.
• Demonstrated capacity for active, hands-on, engagement in Information Technology service delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge communication gaps between technology professionals and technology users.
• Demonstrated ability to support and develop employees.

Position Summary :

This position is responsible for managing the overall operations, planning, and development of information and technology services for the College of Public Health.

Responsibilities include : strategic and tactical planning, budget management, project management, resource management, vendor relationship management, developing a culture of customer service, and the supervision and development of IT professionals and leaders. The IT Director must be highly motivated, skilled and experienced in managing a complex and various technology-based service unit, solutions-driven and focused on exceptional customer service.
