About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist

License : State licensed required

• Rotating weekday and weekend call required

Description :

This position requires a professional with 1 year of experience in interventional radiology.

Candidates must have prior travel experience to qualify.

Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory.

The successful candidate will provide care for adult patients undergoing interventional procedures.

Responsibilities include accessing and managing ports, central venous access, and preparation of access sites.

The technologist will perform various interventional radiology tasks such as angioplasty, embolization, and placement of devices.

Skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac mapping, and interpretation of dysrhythmias are essential.

The role includes surgical scrub for procedures and maintaining a sterile field.

Candidates should be comfortable with patient care, utilizing specialized equipment, and working as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Additional abilities required include stock management of supplies and equipment.

Internal collaboration with IV teams, social services, and rapid response teams will be part of your daily responsibilities.

This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety.
