GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Southwest Traders, Inc. is a full-service distribution company delivering fresh, frozen, and dry products to national accounts, specialty ice cream & yogurt shops, juice & smoothie bars. SWT now has full distribution centers in CA.

Fast-paced Foodservice Distributor is currently seeking an IT Desktop support level 1 for Temecula Warehouse Center. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, organized, meticulous, team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Southwest Traders, Inc. is seeking an individual with in-depth and broad IT knowledge to provide support for the day-to-day operations of the IT department. The following list of responsibilities may be required daily with more than one function required at a time :

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Provide basic support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems (Windows / macOS) and common applications (Microsoft Office, browsers, etc.).
  • Log, track, and document support tickets in the help desk system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 or appropriate support teams.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and update asset management records.
  • Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved and customer satisfaction is achieved.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Provide desktop support for all related IT requests.
  • Assist with maintaining mobile devices, Applications, Security, Repairs, Soti management
  • Assist with Cyber Security & MS Score
  • Set up equipment for new users
  • Keep inventory of IT assets, software, and licenses
  • Document internal procedures
  • WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or IT certification is a plus).
  • 0–2 years of experience in a desktop support or help desk role.
  • Basic understanding of Windows and / or macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • CompTIA A+, ITIL, or similar certifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft OS, 365
  • WORKING CONDITIONS

    Standard office working conditions apply. Long periods of standing, walking, crouching and crawling may be required to accomplish various tasks. Lifting up to 40 lbs. may be required on occasion. May be required to work in some adverse temperatures, hot and cold.
