The Onchain Economy ETF ($NODE) seeks to capture the growth of the digital asset ecosystem by investing in companies shaping the Bitcoin, fintech, and energy infrastructure landscape. We are seeking an Investment Analyst to source, evaluate, and communicate investment opportunities within the digital asset space. In this role, you will conduct research, valuations, and appraisals of equities, tokens, and cryptocurrencies, and collaborate with team members and market participants to underwrite investment ideas. This position focuses on traditional equity analysis within the Bitcoin, fintech, and energy infrastructure ecosystems - evaluating publicly traded and private companies that provide exposure to these sectors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform traditional equity research and financial analysis on Bitcoin-related securities, fintech, and energy infrastructure companies
- Develop and maintain financial models incorporating detailed operational forecasts, valuation frameworks (DCF, comparables, SOTP) and scenario analysis
- Propose portfolio construction ideas and write high-conviction investment theses supported by rigorous quantitative and fundamental research
- Monitor relevant developments across the Bitcoin ecosystem, public equity markets, and related energy and technology sectors
- Meet with portfolio teams, write investment memos, and present conclusions to investment committee
- Generate leads for new business and present the funds' strategies and operations to prospective and existing clients
- Other duties or special projects may be assigned as needed

Qualifications
Strong understanding of the crypto currency and digital asset financial and fintech ecosystemExperience making individual stock recommendations based on detailed industry and corporate evaluations and quantitative financial analysis, ideally from a buy-side or sell-side analyst roleTechnical knowledge on token design, blockchain design / security is a plusMicro focus (stock picker) over Macro (Bitcoin as store of value)Passionate about how Bitcoin, fintech innovations and energy infrastructure intersect with capital markets and listed equitiesAble to write clearly on a short deadline with convictionExperience assessing business and cryptocurrency valuations, monitoring market trends and investment portfolios, analyzing investment decisions, and generating key takeawaysPrior knowledge / experience with various public / private investment structures, including but not limited to ETFs, mutual funds and partnerships.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsWriting, critical thinking, and open mindednessTeam player who can work independentlyAbility to work in office a minimum of four days per week, with occasional travel for conferences and eventsEducation and / or Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, accounting or computer science is preferred, but other related degrees will be consideredMinimum of 3 years of traditional finance, equity research, or accounting experience; sell-side research experience within fintech or technology sectors strongly preferred.CFA, CPA preferredCompensation
If this position will be performed in whole or in part in New York City, the base salary range is $100,000 - $150,000. Individual salaries may vary based on different factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
