Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Rough Carpenter to join our construction crew. This position focuses on framing, structural builds, and other foundational carpentry tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction plans, tools, and materials and will contribute to the efficient and safe completion of building projects.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair wooden and metal frameworks for buildings and other structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Build temporary supports, scaffolding, and braces.
• Install floor joists, wall frames, roof trusses, and subflooring.
• Ensure structures are plumb, level, and aligned to project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 / hr.
