We are seeking a personable, detail-oriented, and organized real estate professional who has a passion for both people and numbers. The day-to-day role would involve conducting thorough research and financial analysis for various types of commercial real estate assets. Specifically, the Analyst will conduct research and interviews to understand the local market, conduct a supply and demand analysis, prepare revenue and expense forecasts, and use models to derive a value under supervision. The analyst will also maintain the property database with sale and lease comparables, as well as help prepare appraisal reports with assistance from senior valuation professionals.
This role will be located in our Irvine, CA office. Hybrid work-from-home opportunities may be available upon request, but it will be required for this role to be in office 3-4 days each week, especially during training.
Responsibilities and duties include : database entry of sale, rent, lease and income & expense comparables; analyze rent rolls and leases; analyze historical financial performance; comparison analysis of rent, lease and sale comparables; survey property managers and brokers for rent and sale information; analyze cash flows using a discount cash flow analysis; value real estate assets; and take professional education classes towards appraisal licensure.
Qualifications include : 0-2 years of Commercial Real Estate Valuation experience required; trainee licensure or previous real estate appraisal courses completed preferred; bachelor's degree from four-year university; strong communication, written, and organizational skills; ability to self-manage multiple projects at once; strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; Argus experience preferred; ability to work in office at least 2-3 times per week; and ability to communicate as necessary if working remote.
Physical requirements include : must be able to travel to asset tours; must be able to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone and via emails; and visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen.

The salary range for the Sr Analyst position is $45,000-$65,000. Contributing factors towards this salary range include experience level and candidate location.
