Plant Manager (Food Manufacturing)
Location : Brockton, MA
Reports To : Director of Operations
Compensation : $140,000 – $170,000 annually

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Plant Manager to lead our food manufacturing facility in Brockton, MA. This role is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day plant operations while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The Plant Manager will play a key leadership role in building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, materials, quality assurance, and systems support.
- Drive performance in safety, quality, service, cost, and inventory management.
- Analyze plant metrics to identify trends and implement data-driven improvements.
- Coordinate production schedules to meet customer and market demands.
- Develop and implement policies that improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain inspection-readiness across all operations.
- Oversee and enforce FIFO inventory practices.
- Manage production variances and resolve customer issues.
- Hire, mentor, and lead production staff and frontline leadership teams.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to accident prevention and plant security policies.
Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing OR Associate's degree with 10+ years of experience.Strong background in production, quality, or engineering within food manufacturing.Proven leadership skills with a track record of building effective teams.Knowledge of processing equipment and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Basic knowledge of accounting principles.Preferred :
