About The Position

Job Title : ER Registered Nurse

License : Valid State License required (Pending license accepted)

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS required

Must-Have :

First timers accepted

Previous charge experience required

Patient ratio experience preferred

Charting system experience required (Epic)

Description :

ER Registered Nurse position available.

Start date is ASAP.

Shift is 3x12 variable.

Traveler can be called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per two weeks.

Weekend work is required.

Will float within the scope to meet facility needs.

The facility type is an acute care medical center.

It is a critical access hospital with a Level IV trauma designation.

Total staffed beds include 46 in acute care and 22 in long-term care.

The unit is staffed with 2 nurses on day shift and 2 nurses on night shift.

There are no techs, CNAs, or unit secretaries.

Special procedures are conducted in a Level IV trauma center setting.

Daily census in the unit averages 10 patients.

Interdisciplinary support is available from various services.

Holidays worked must include 2 out of 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.

Housing and a vehicle will be provided for travelers during the assignment.

Pets are not allowed in housing units.

Additional family members must be approved to stay in housing.

Travelers must clean the housing unit before departure or will incur cleaning fees.

Vehicles provided are limited to in-town use only.

Travelers must return vehicles during any off-time and will receive a new vehicle upon return.

Tire chains for vehicles will incur additional cost to travelers.

Vehicles must be returned clean and with a full tank of gas.
