Overview

This position assesses and manages the company's exposure by serving as the risk management business partner between the company, agents, and our customers virtually. The role includes reviewing and evaluating the level of risk presented by various operations, existing exposures, and controls, as well as the effectiveness of the customer's application of those controls. When applicable, recommendations are developed and submitted to the customer to reduce and maintain their level of risk. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• For each of the major commercial lines of businesses provided, the ability to assess the level of risk for customers with a Hazard Index rating of Very High (10) with coaching and a rating of High (7-9) with minimal or no coaching.

This includes assessing the operations, identifying the potential loss-producing conditions and practices as well as the presence and effectiveness of controls. Consult with underwriters on the conditions identified and complete written risk assessments in accordance with internal quality assessment guidelines.

The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance, and business needs.

Pay Range

USD $106,000.00 - USD $146,000.00 / Yr.
