Position Summary
The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging learning solutions that support organizational goals and enhance employee skills. This role collaborates with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other team members to create effective training programs using adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and modern learning (SMEs) and business leaders to assess training needs and define learning objectives.-Design and develop instructional materials such as e-learning modules, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, and assessments.-Apply instructional design models (, ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theory to create effective learning experiences.-Leverage learning technologies including Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring tools (, Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia), and virtual collaboration platforms.-Create engaging multimedia content (graphics, audio, video, simulations) to support learning.-Ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and alignment with organizational standards.-Conduct pilot tests, gather learner feedback, and make improvements based on evaluation data.-Track and measure the effectiveness of training programs using Kirkpatrick's evaluation model or similar frameworks.-Stay current on instructional design trends, technologies, and best practices.
