CAD Drafter – Full-Time | On-Site

Hours : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Pay : $22–$24 / hour DOE (based on experience)

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter with a minimum of 3 years of experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The ideal candidate must have strong SolidWorks skills along with AutoCAD experience, specifically in creating 2D and 3D mechanical part drawings used in manufacturing. You’ll support engineering teams by producing high-quality manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for fabrication, assembly, and schematics.

Key Responsibilities :

Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD

Generate BOMs and process document changes via the ECN process

Work within a Product Data Management (PDM) system to manage and update files

Handle file conversions and ensure accurate distribution

Support additional tasks as assigned

Requirements :

3+ years of engineering drafting experience

Proven expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for mechanical design

Experience producing drawings for manufacturing applications

Strong knowledge of BOM structures and technical documentation

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail

Ability to read and interpret assembly prints and parts lists

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to climb stairs, sit for extended periods, type, file, and communicate fluently in English

Education :

Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience

Eligibility :

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
