Expertise in research, analysis, and writing, capable of conducting initial assessments on inquiries or events related to the nation's critical communications infrastructure.
Fundamental understanding of the National Response Framework, Emergency Support Function -2, and Cybersecurity & Communications Initiatives.
Skilled in rapid analysis of communications infrastructure and adept at creating products with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Potential involvement in meetings and discussions, interfacing with industry or external agencies for notetaking and assessments.

Knowledge of telecommunications, cybersecurity, and IT security.
Experience using modeling / simulation tools in conjunction with expertise in commercial telecommunications networks to conduct analyses and produce reports.
Ability to assess threats, including those from adversarial countries to critical communications infrastructures and provide detailed technical recommendations and thorough evaluations.
Availability for extended duty, on-call, and / or deployment to alternate locations within the region or the continental U.S. as required.

Capability to obtain DHS Suitability and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment.
Education :
Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years equivalent experience
