This role is hybrid (near Columbus, OH or Pittsburgh, PA) or remote.

Responsibilities :

Lead discovery efforts with stakeholder and user interviews to uncover needs and pain points.
Research industry best practices and competitor solutions to inspire innovation.
Gather feedback to ensure designs evolve with user needs.
Partner with product managers to define user problems and shape the product roadmap.
Map customer journeys and identify friction points to improve usability.
Use analytics to optimize user flows and prioritize UX improvements.

Design and Delivery :

Create user flows for complex systems that are simple and visually appealing.

Drive projects from concept to launch, including wireframes, prototypes, and testing.

Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless execution and scalable design systems.

Conduct usability testing and validate solutions with data-driven methods.

Participate in planning and designing new software and updates.

Work with marketing to design digital touchpoints and optimize UX for marketing performance.

UX Standards and Best Practices :

Stay current with design tools, patterns, and trends.

Provide recommendations and create maintainable style guides.

Balance user needs with business goals to improve product adoption and retention.

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree

4+ years in UI / UX design with a strong portfolio

Experience in B2B design, simplifying complex requirements

Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Marvel, Overflow

Experience with user research and translating insights into designs

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
