SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist

Our client is seeking a skilled SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist to join a collaborative, high-performing team focused on delivering custom data solutions. This individual will apply advanced SQL expertise and problem-solving skills to support complex business initiatives. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of translating analytical insights into practical, business-aligned outcomes. Strong communication and consultative abilities are key to success in this role.

This role is fully remote. Candidates must be located in the following states : AZ, DC, FL, IL, KS, MO, NY, NC, OH, OR, TN, MD, NJ, SC, VA, WA, AL, CO, CT, DE, GA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MA, MI, MN, NV, OK, PA, TX, UT, or WI.

SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist Responsibilities

Design, develop, and troubleshoot T-SQL code to support a variety of data and analytics needs.
Analyze and optimize large, complex datasets for performance and usability.
Collaborate with team members and project leads to align technical solutions with project requirements.
Consult with internal stakeholders to clarify business needs and translate them into actionable data strategies.
Manage workload priorities and timelines while communicating progress and potential challenges effectively.

SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

10+ years of experience working with SQL Server or other relational database systems.

Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL development and query optimization.

Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets and perform in-depth data analysis.

5+ years of experience delivering technical solutions in a collaborative environment.

Strong analytical mindset with the flexibility to pivot between priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative approach to stakeholder engagement.

Compensation : $70-$80 / hr. (DOE)
