Our team is seeking a Transportation Technician 11 for our Bureau of Field Services Team. We are looking for someone who can embrace the challenges of meeting our goals and exceeding the standards!

Responsibilities

• This position functions as the recognized resource responsible for video inspection of undrains, culverts, and sewers during the scoping, design and construction phases of Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) construction projects statewide.
• This position also performs non-destructive testing, compressive strength testing on rock cores, and equipment maintenance.
• Travel for regular field inspections and reviews may be required and possession of a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience : Three years of experience equivalent to a Transportation Technician, including one year equivalent to a Transportation Technician E10. The following substitutions apply :
