Microsoft is hiring a Director, Solution Engineering for our Innovation Hub located in Boston, MA, and this is an on-site role. In this role, you will lead a best-in-class, cross-workload team driving AI transformation for Microsoft's most strategic customers together with our global partners. As the Director of the Innovation Hub, you lead your team of Solution Engineers to accelerate customer decisions, and drive AI transformation wins via deep customer engagement journeys. You'll create alignment across Microsoft, manage senior stakeholder relationships, and coach your team to maximize impact for every customer. You'll be a strategic leader and change maker, driving real business outcomes and differentiating Microsoft in the market. Success in this role means being an AI visionary and hands-on practitioner, bold, adaptive, and focused on innovation in a rapidly evolving world. This role is Microsoft onsite only.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow a high performing team with deep technical expertise and consulting skills, focused on driving customer AI transformation and maximizing the adoption and business impact of Microsoft's solutions.
- Articulate the strategic vision of the Hub with subsidiary leadership, sales and Industry teams. Advocate for the Hub's process of Solution & Business Envisioning, Architecture Design, and Rapid Prototyping for optimal customer outcomes.
- Use your sales leadership experience to drive deal velocity and impact by owning the Hub's business portfolio, ensuring successful engagement outcomes, and proactively identifying where the Hub can accelerate new opportunities for selected customers.
- Engage in advanced sales conversations with C-level customer stakeholders and connect platform and model capabilities with real business outcomes to directly influence transformation strategy and roadmaps.
- As a senior leader at Microsoft, proactively collaborate with your manager-level counterparts and their teams on strategic customer deals. Ensure engagement with the Microsoft Partner ecosystem in Hub customer journeys.
- Build a learning culture in your team. Sponsor your Solution Engineers to grow by identifying opportunities for learning and experimentation with diverse technical and industry folks across Microsoft.
- Own all aspects of your Hub's operations, including facility operations, hiring, budget, and the quality of the end-to-end customer experience in your facility ensuring that the Hub exemplifies Microsoft's values and mission.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.Other Requirements :
